Double the beauty. . . Double the fun! I had so much fun with these sweet sisters and their mom. Don't you just love their hair color and eye color? I especially enjoyed how sweet the girls were to each other and to their mom during their session. Relationships like these are what make the world a better place. :)

What a beautiful wedding! Kristi and Aaron got married at the Southwestern University Chapel in Georgetown and were so much fun! The colors were beautiful and the day was perfect. . . having their dog surprise everyone by delivering the rings was a special touch that everyone will be sure to remember! Enjoy!

I can't tell you how much fun I had with this adorable little guy!! I've photographed their family for quite some time now, and he couldn't have been any cuter for his 1 year photo session! We started at the studio with his cute hat, then traveled to a rustic barn, then back to the studio for his CAKE SMASH!!! I really love how he went after the cake with his feet!!! I may have to try this approach this weekend. . . it's my birthday on Saturday!! (I think it's a sure fire way to make sure no one else eats my birthday cake . . . what do you think??)

Sweet Baby "Case"

I had the privilege of photographing this sweet, beautiful newborn and his mother, and had to post a few of my favorites here for you to see. . . I love it when the moms bring the babies in when they're so fresh. . . I can bend and fold them any way I'd like, and they generally sleep during most of their session. This little guy, however, stayed really alert, not wanting to miss any detail of his very first portrait session!! We finally wore him out toward the end, though. Almost makes me wish I had another one of my own. Well, kinda. . .

This is our first LIMITED EDITION photo session in the history of Amy Weison Photography and we are SO excited! We hope to offer 3 or 4 Limited Edition sessions throughout the year, and since we all love Valentines Day, we thought it would be a great place to start. We photographed a few of our favorite clients in order to show everyone what fun stuff we have planned!

Here’s the session scoop. . . (keep scrolling to see more Valentine Images!)

Session Fee: $45
Session duration: 30-45 minutes
Dates: Monday Jan 19th and Tuesday Jan 20th
Number of appointments available: 12

We tried to make it really easy for you, as parents, and will be providing most of the props that make these images so ADORABLE – tutus in multiple colors, fresh roses, angel wings, coordinated hair bows, L-O-V-E letters, and suit coat and tie. The only thing you might need to bring is the white, black, red or pink T-shirt or tank top for your child, (and jeans). Of course, you’re welcome to bring any additional props with you that you think might look cute! (Please note: As much as we LOVE babies, we request that your child be sitting up on their own to be included in our Valentine’s Special.)

We will be offering several Valentine Collections at special “limited edition pricing” that start at $100. We will also be offering valentine cards, valentine scrapbooks that will include 8 of your favorite images, framed art collages to showcase 3 or 4 images, and a few other surprises!

Happy New Year from everyone at Amy Weison Photography!

One of my New Year's Resolutions is to create and maintain a blog for my photography studio, so here's my first attempt!

I thought it would be appropriate to dedicate my first post to a very special high school senior . . . my oldest daughter. With the celebration of the New Year, I sadly realized that the next five months will pass before my eyes like a flash, and before we know it, she'll be an independent young college student and out of the house. . . sniff sniff!

Here are a few of my favorite images from a short session we had just before Christmas.
